Peavey Plaza Evening Stage

GALA Festival 2024 hosts FREE concerts in Peavey Plaza each evening from 7:00-10:00 PM, featuring LGBTQ+ International choruses, Youth Choruses, local choirs and GALA Ensembles.

Blockbuster Concerts

Evening Blockbuster concerts incorporate chorus performances, choral collaborations, Festival Choirs, new commissions, spoken word, video and guest artists – all tied together by theme.

Festival Choruses & Guest Conductors

Eight Festival Choruses offer singing delegates the chance to work with a guest conductor, rehearse with singers from across the world, and perform in an evening Blockbuster concert. Sign up now!

Coffee Concerts

Wake up and smell the coffee! Festival 2024 hosts seven morning Coffee Concerts representing GALA choruses across the spectrum. These concerts feature multi-disciplinary performances, new commissions and some very unique programming.

Choral Carnival – FREE!

Held on Friday, July 12, the FREE Choral Carnival is designed to engage Festival delegates, as well as the broader Twin Cities’ community, in 45-60 minute rotating performances across downtown Minneapolis.

Chorus Concerts

112 choirs are registered to perform for you at Festival 2024, and there is a waiting list for additional choir hoping to attend.

Youth at Festival

GALA welcomes youth ages 13-20 to participate in organized youth activities throughout Festival 2024.  GALA’s youth choruses are hosting youth-focused workshops, meals, and social events throughout the week, and a youth excursion on Saturday, July 13.

Performance Halls

GALA Festival 2024 features four excellent performing venues seating between 1,700-3,500 audience members.

Single Concert Ticket Sales

Minnesota Mosaic

Minnesota Mosaic on Wednesday, July 10, will feature bands and performers from across the Twin Cities, along with food trucks and interactive art displays!

New Harmony Open Table

The New Harmony Open Table space welcomes all people. BIPOC, transgender and nonbinary individuals, plus friends, allies and anyone seeking resources is welcome at the table and in conversations.
