Jason Frazier has been part of the LGBTQ+ choral movement for more than 30 years, beginning with the Alamo City Men’s Chorale in 1992. He is currently a singing member of the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles and has supported chorus communities through committee service, staff leadership roles, and national engagement. His long involvement includes local board and committee leadership, professional roles within GMCLA, and, most recently, serving as the 2024 GALA Festival Liaison for GMCLA.

Professionally, Jason is a nonprofit fundraising executive with deep experience across the LGBTQ+ and arts sectors. His career includes senior development roles at the Los Angeles LGBT Center and Project Angel Food, as well as his current work at The Music Center—the Performing Arts Center of Los Angeles County—where he focuses on corporate sponsorships and strategic partnerships that help expand access to the arts and sustain large-scale community programs.

Jason currently serves as Board President of Being Alive, an HIV/AIDS nonprofit, and has long been active in HIV advocacy through AIDS/LifeCycle. He brings to GALA Choruses a collaborative leadership style grounded in financial stewardship and shaped by a lifelong belief in the power of choral music to create belonging, visibility, and lasting community change within the GALA movement.

Based in the Los Angeles area, Jason lives in Burbank with his husband, Lee, and their dog, Piper.
