Our Choruses

A GALA chorus is a choir or singing group that is part of the Gay and Lesbian Association of Choruses (GALA). GALA choruses are made up of LGBTQ+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning, and others) singers and allies, and we perform various musical styles, including classical, pop, world, folk, gospel, and protest.

Typically our choruses are non-profit organizations that provide a safe and inclusive space for LGBTQ+ singers to express themselves and create music together. We often use music as a means of advocacy and social justice, promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion through our performances.

Often our choruses produce diverse performances in a variety of venues.
