GALA Festival 2024 hosts a variety of spaces for BIPOC individuals to gather from parties, to workshops and singing opportunities. 

Choral Carnival – FREE!

Held on Friday, July 12, the FREE Choral Carnival is designed to engage Festival delegates, as well as the broader Twin Cities’ community, in 45-60 minute rotating performances across downtown Minneapolis.

Choral Cinema

Open from 9am-10pm each day in MCC 101H, the Choral Cinema is your invitation to take a break from the hustle of Festival and enjoy some excellent videos featuring your favorite GALA Choruses!

Composer Fair

Join this meet-and-greet with your favorite composers and learn to know some new ones!

Legacy Awards

GALA honors individuals who have served the LGBTQ choral movement.

Minnesota Mosaic

Minnesota Mosaic on Wednesday, July 10, will feature bands and performers from across the Twin Cities, along with food trucks and interactive art displays!

Peavey Plaza Evening Stage

GALA Festival 2024 hosts FREE concerts in Peavey Plaza each evening from 7:00-10:00 PM, featuring LGBTQ+ International choruses, Youth Choruses, local choirs and GALA Ensembles.

Pinnacle Reception and Auction

SOLD OUT: We hope that you will join the GALA Board of Directors for Pinnacle, our Festival fundraising event. The event will include cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, a fabulous live auction, and a keynote address by a guest artist.
