GALS Auckland presents the Street Requiem

It's GALS 25th year, and to mark this occasion we present the NZ premiere of the Street Requiem. A choral work composed to highlight and remember those who have died on the street. Around the world there is suffering due to homelessness, poverty, war and other hardships. The Street Requiem helps to remind us of those suffering. Composers are Kathleen McGuire, Andy Payne and Jonathon Welch.

GALS, with friends, will present a special one-off concert in Auckland Town Hall's Great Hall. We're aiming for 150 voices on stage. We want to generate as much money as we can for Auckland Homeless Charities, reflecting the motivation around this marvellous work, the Street Requiem
