Accessibility

While the Festival Village (hotels and performance halls) is reasonably compact some delegates with mobility challenges may wish to rent a scooter. Dahl Medical Supply is conveniently located on Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis. A one-week rental is approximately $250.

All of the Festival performance venues and the hotels in the GALA block are ADA compliant. Information on getting around backstage at the performance venues for those in wheelchairs or scooters will be provided to the chorus festival liaisons.

Choruses are welcome to bring their ASL interpreter. Choruses not bringing an interpreter may wish to contract the services of another chorus’ interpreter. As we become aware of interpreters planning to attend and willing to work with additional choruses we will pass that information along to chorus festival liaisons. Delegates with hearing impairment should be aware that not all performances will have interpreters.

A limited number of large print copies of the event schedule will be available on site at the Delegate Services desk.

An accessibility coordinator will be available by phone throughout Festival to assist with any accessibility issues.
