Information for Sponsors

Minneapolis is hosting the GALA Choruses LGBTQ Festival on July 4-8, 2020 and we are expecting 7,000 LGBTQ singers from 180 choruses and ensembles from across the world. The festival is in downtown Minneapolis in Orchestra Hall, the Minneapolis Convention Center and Central Lutheran Church.

This LGBTQ choral festival is expected to generate $14 million in revenue for the Minneapolis community and includes:

  • 200 performances in 4. 5 days
  • 40+ new choral commissions
  • Themed evening Blockbuster concerts
  • A unique festival track for LGBTQ youth
  • Performances by hundreds of Twin Cities composers and musicians
  • Choral collaborations including a huge public singing event with local choirs and community singers.
  • More passion, creativity, and fun than you have ever experienced at a choral concert!

Vendor Booths

A limited number of vendor booths are available for $2,000. Booths include an 8' table with linens, access to electricity, and area lighting. Additional lighting, extension cords and other materials are your responsibility.

Festival Phone App

The Integra Mobile App will be used many times per day by delegates to check schedules, make plans with friends, verify rehearsal times, etc. You can advertise on the Festival App for a one-time fee of $1,000. Your ad will feature click-thru access to a website of your choice and will be shown in rotation with other ads.

We accept an image size of 728 pixels wide by 90 pixels high. Images should have no transparency, and should be in PNG, GIF or JPG format. PNG is best for computer-generated artwork such as logos, and JPG is best for complex images such as photos. Animated GIFs should not be used.

Rather than just simply use your logo, we encourage you to use the available space for an advertising banner that will encourage viewers to click on the associated link for more information.

GALA Website and Registration Software

You can advertise on GALA's website. Website traffic, particularly prior to the Festival, is quite high and provides another way to reach delegates. You can advertise on GALA's website for a one-time fee of $500. Your ad will feature click-thru access to a website of your choice and will be shown in rotation with other ads.

Badge Insert

Inside every delegate badge is an insert which shows performance schedules, a map of the downtown area, recommended restaurants and other information. You can place a full color ad in the insert for $750. Ads are approximately 2" wide by 3" high. Double-width ads (4" wide x 3" high) may be available for $1,000.

Live Broadcast

Daytime Coffee Concerts and evening Blockbusters will be broadcast live on the Internet. You can purchase advertising time on the webcast. Crawlers and Title cards with voiceover run for 15 seconds. The number of showings is GALA's minimum commitment to the advertiser. Additional showings may also be done at our discretion.

While we will make every effort to broadcast your time-sensitive ads according to your specifications, we cannot guarantee all ads will be shown in a prescribed period.

The Works

A package of advertising options is available for $3,500. Your package includes:

  • A vendor booth
  • Up to $1,250 in advertising on the Live Broadcast, based on the table above.
  • An ad on the Festival App.
  • An ad on GALA's website.
  • One 2"x3" color ad on the badge insert.
