On April 7-8, 2017, the Gay Men's Chorus of Charlotte will perform the Carolina premier of "Naked Man", the groundbreaking song cycle by composer Robert Seeley and librettist Philip Littell. This is one of the most important works in LGBT choral literature, and it's given us anthems like "I Come from Good People, " "Marry Us," and "Never Ever." It's thoughtful, poignant, and inspiring.
Joining GMC Charlotte onstage will be the Lynchburg Alliance Community Choir, a brand-new LGBT chorus raising their voices in opposition to the invective flowing from neighboring Liberty University.
Performance is at the Duke Energy Theater at Spirit Square; showtime for both nights is 8:04 pm.
