Expo/GALA Store

The Expo at Festival 2008 is a consumer show that brings together GLBT consumers with gay owned and gay friendly businesses from across the country. The Expo will be held at the Hilton Miami Hotel Overture Foyer and Concerto Ballrooms A, B and C. The Expo will be held Saturday July 12 from 11 am to 7 pm, Sunday July 13 from 10 am to 4 pm and Monday July 14 from 9 am to 1 pm. The GALA store will remain open all week.

Member choruses have two options for marketing their CDs, etc at Festival. Choruses can have their own booth at the Expo during the days and hours described above and then after the Expo closes on Monday, July 14, member chorus exhibitors can either (a) consign their merchandise to the GALA Store to be located at the ARsht Center for the Performing Arts (ACPA) or (b) have their own table at ACPA. Choruses choosing to have their own booth at the Expo and table at ACPA must provide their own staff and acquire their own State of Florida Special Event Sales Tax License. The cost for this option is $750. Please review the Exhibit brochure above for details and follow the instructions therein to reserve an exhibit space.

The second option is to consign your merchandise to the GALA store at ACPA for the entire week. GALA Choruses personnel will staff the store and handle the Florida sales tax license. The consignment fee is a flat $100.00. Please complete and return the form below by May 1, 2008.
