HOUSING UPDATE AS OF 4/24/08

The online reservation system is no longer available. In order for the Housing Bureau of the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau to best serve you, please use this form and either fax or mail your reservation to the Housing Bureau. This way your reservation will be handled individually and result in a quicker acknowledgement response.

PLEASE NOTE: Many people who plan to stay for the entire festival indicated a check out date of July 19th. Saturday, July 19th is the last day of the festival, however there is a full day of concerts and Closing Ceremony that evening concluding around 10:30 pm. If your reservation is set up for check out on Saturday, July 19th, but you would like to stay through the Closing Ceremony, please write to housing@gmcvb.com and request that your reservation be amended to check out on Sunday, July 20th. Please include your acknowledgement number in the e-mail. This request can also be made by fax.

If you have already booked online or via fax and have received an acknowledgment number, your reservation is secure. We have recently been told by the housing bureau that it will be sometime in May before you receive your confirmation number from the hotel. The timing is up to the hotels and how long it takes them to put the information into their system. It is peak season right now in Miami so this may take a little while. As long as you have an acknowledgment number, please just sit tight and wait until your confirmation number is sent.

If you need to make changes to your reservation please do so ONLY in writing through the housing bureau so that the inventory remains correct in their system. Please do NOT request any changes or new reservations directly through the hotels. Please fax changes to 305-539-3106 or e-mail to housing@gmcvb.com.

f you have faxed your reservation to the bureau and haven�t received an acknowledgement number you can write to them at housing@gmcvb.com and request that they send your number.

The official hotels for Festival 2008 are below. Please note: The Radisson will become a Hilton in February. It is listed in the materials as a Hilton.
